AT EASE is a free, independent, service offering information, advice and counselling to members of the Armed Forces.

AT EASE consists entirely of voluntary workers offering some of their own time.

AT EASE needs more volunteers for different roles.

Until such time as At Ease can be office based again,  first responder volunteers will work from their own homes as part of an intake team operating a telephone helpline open for 2 hours once a week.

Local Volunteers are particularly needed in Bristol and other parts of the South West where in-person training can be given. AT EASE Local Volunteers do not have regular hours but are needed occasionally to offer further support to individuals in their area.

Publicity, Administrative and Research Volunteers arrange their own hours. Web masters and anyone with tech skills are welcome to contact us to improve the service.

Volunteers who are Forces Veterans are especially welcome. We draw upon professional skills from all fields, such as counsellors and therapists as well as anyone with relevant experience.

We do not offer accredited counselling hours for trainees. We can offer some small reimbursements for expenses. References will be required.

Training for new volunteers in person once a month in Bristol.
